The 1996 Ford Escort RS Cosworth, a homologation special for the World Rally Championship (WRC), was built on a truncated Sierra Cosworth chassis and was available as a road car from 1992 until 1996. Our replica is of the 1996 San Remo Rally, the car went on to come third overall in the championship winning the Rally Indonesia along the way.

To get the power to the ground, the WR8 uses an all-wheel drive system featuring a centre differential spinning driveshafts leading to the front and rear differentials.
