The C-47 Dakota or "Gooneybird" as it was affectionately called was the military version of the famous DC-3 and is arguably the most iconic of all military transport planes, famed for its ruggedness and reliability, it is also one of the nicest looking aircraft of its type ever designed.

This superb looking C-47 really looks the part finished in its classic olive/grey scheme complete with invasion stripes, it is also a great size giving it plenty of presence but at the same time it is very practical courtesy of the one peice removable wing. Being made from EPO it is tough and being plug and fly, it is quick and simple to assemble.

The pre-fitted outrunner motors give the C-47 plenty of power to get off from even the roughest of strips and the scale landing gear is very sturdy. Despite its size, the Skytrain only uses a 2200mAh 3s lipoly making it cheap to get into the air, a must for any warbird enthusiast, this is your chance to own a model of one of the most important aircraft of WW2.

Version 2 of the C-47 has upgraded normal and reversed motors and propellers.
