Wot 4 Classic Edition 2 Kit - Revised alloy U/C, new shaped fin and rudder and ply parts will be laser cut
The Wot 4 mark 3 & Classic could be best described as an evolutionary rather than a revolutionary development. The fresh elegant styling, whilst heavily influenced by the Uno Wot, has been skilfully integrated with the intrinsic and unmistakable character of its predecessor the Mk2 The tapered wing mk3 provides crisper and more precise roll response, the revised 56’’ wing improves all-round performance and manoeuvrability and raised tail thrust line datums create greater lateral precision. The Classic uses a 52’’ span parallel chord wing similar to the Wot 4 Mk2 but with the Mklll fuselage, especially suited to slow fun type flying. The rakish swept vertical tail surfaces, underfin and increased lower rudder area greatly enhance flick manoeuvres and knife edge looping capability. Structurally the fuselage has undergone a major redesign, incorporating die-cut ply doublers, formers and integral servo tray, all slotted for ease of assembly. The front bulkhead can be installed in a choice of positions to accommodate any engine within the specified range. Available in 4 versions- Wot 4 Mlll & Wot 4 Classic both of these are available with or without glass fibre cowl and undercarriage. When fitted with a .30 size engine, the gentle and forgiving handling characteristics make it the perfect advanced trainer, an ideal ’second’ model and follow-on from a pure trainer such as the Uno Wot. Moving up the engine range creates a progressively more exciting performance. Using the maximum size 60 two stroke or 90 four stroke leaves absolutely nothing to be desired for the experienced pilot!
